Fantasy Pheasant Embroidery Class

This year-long, tutor-led class is designed to explore and combine various techniques to create an exquisite fantasy pheasant. It is suitable for individuals looking to expand their skills, covering everything from padding different shapes to creating detached components and assembling complex elements.

• Order of Work

• Carpet Felt

• Felt Padding

• Soft String Padding

• Blending Canvas Stitches

• Shading Canvas Stitches

• Making a Canvas Slip

• Long and Short Stitch with Silk Floss

• S-ing in Metal Purls

• Shaded Couching

• Chipping

• Applying Crystals

• Working Turkey rug stitch

• Creating a Wired Edge

• Assembling Multiple Elements and Adjusting as Necessary

Classes are conducted live via Zoom, and the class dates can be found here

All sessions are recorded for those unable to attend in person. This format allows participants to rewatch sessions as needed. Zoom links will be provided monthly in the respective class section.
